Patriotic Almond Sheet Cake

This almond sheet cake topped with strawberries and blueberries is the perfect way to celebrate the 4th of July.  Because it is a sheet cake, it is a nice cake to take to a potluck or picnic.  I personally love almond flavor and think it pairs wonderfully with the flavors of the berries.

We plan to celebrate by watching our town’s 4th of July parade, a enjoying cookout, and of course watching fireworks.  How will you celebrate the 4th?  I hope you have a very Happy 4th of July

  27. This looks divine... my mouth is watering. I LOVE the taste of almond flavored treats (though I'm not a nut person... hmm...). Just found out my baby girl is allergic to almonds, among other things, so it's banned from the house. Might have to try this one out anyway. During naptime, perhaps?

If not I'll just make that heavenly looking orange cake!! Love to see you by my blog sometime! http://confessionsofaslackermom.blogspot.com
